The essence of the authentic religion is gratitude. This is what God likes to receive from us. Then everything that an honest believer does for God, in acts or words, in essence is gratitude: obedience, praises, service, gifts, etc.
If a son of Adam lives in this manner the power of God is with him and God is continually working in his life, surprising him and giving him other reasons to be grateful to God. Could be there something more interesting than this?
