This is one of the most difficult to translate verses in the Bible. I translated it like this: “Faith is the certainty of hoped-for things and the concrete perception of invisible things”. In simple words, faith is the ability to perceive the things that God promised like any other concrete thing you touch or see around you and the immutable conviction that these things are real.
