This is the way God works for His faithful people. He limits the action of the enemy, and manifests goodness and faithfulness toward His believers. The Bible is full of examples in this respect: Daniel in the lion’s den, his friends in the fiery furnace, David in the the cave surrounded by Saul’s army, and so on. All this, by the eyes of faith saw God at work for them, that’s why they remained faithful.
