The biggest fear of a real christian in front of death is that he will not be ready to meet God. That’s why the discipline and the education of God that is with him in the valley of the shadow of death, is the best confort for him, because by this he not only receives the confirmation of the fact that God still loves him, but just by this he is sanctified and made ready to meet God.
