A human that decides to follow God has two problems from the part of Satan and his team: first that the evil one will try to make him sin against the word of God and separate from God and second that the evil one hates the people of God and tries to destroy them. It is really stupid to be superficial in relation with God if one decides to follow Him. It is not a simple game to play, but a life and death fight. So, the attitude of David in Ps 71, of continuing since youth to pray and depend fully on God obeying His Word is the secret of his success and the lack of this is the only explanation of his failures. Then, it is true for every believer.
