God’s faithfulness is at least as constant as the law of gravity. We can be sure that He keeps His word. He is also constantly willing to do us good. However, although gravity is essential to our existence, if you jump off a block the gravity will continue to act and the consequences could be fatal. It is the same with God. If we ignore His Word we will not be able to partake of His goodness that is in Christ, but if we consider His Word and harmonize with it we have part of everything God has promised because He is faithful, meaning He keeps His word and so we share in all His goodness.
