God is merciful, He listened to even Cain, when he remarked that he is in a difficult situation and asked God for help. He answered Samson, that turned to Him and asked sincerely for help in his difficulty. He had ears to hear even the prayer of Manasseh, the worst king of Judah ever, and rehabilitated him to the throne when he repented for his mistakes and prayed, and so on. When a human is in need, and asks for help to God, God is very sensitive to the need of the one that is in difficulty and asks for help from Him.
