The point is that it has no logic. Logically it is necessary for glacier or the rain for having water, but God is able to make water come out of a rock or from the sand of the desert. The water here is the symbol of a meaningful life. God is able to give a meaningful life to a person or to a collectivity where it logically seems impossible. His Spirit is the essence of a meaningful life and He invited everyone that is thirsty to come to Him to receive living water (John 7:36-39).
