God is not on the same level with the creature, but He is everywhere in the creation and He identifies Himself with it and takes perfect care of it. However His love gives freedom to the intelligent beings. This is the highest sign of love, but not all of His free beings accept to trust and follow God. That’s why there is pain and death.
