Jesus said that the poor spiritually is blessed he because feels his need and receives Jesus into his life. So Jesus makes him rich of the everlasting blessings.
Bible tells us that there will always be the poor among us…..but it also reminds us to bank in Heaven, and not on things of this earth where thieves can break in and steal and moths and rust destroy. Let us store up our treasures in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-21)
