Faith consists in acting on the base of the Word of God. In Ps 33:9 it is said that “God says and what He said existed, God orders and what He ordered is executed”. So, in the Word of God there are objects, events and acts. Faith is to act at the order of God and so you give the Word of God the possibility to be fulfilled in you. So, faith without actions of faith doesn’t exist. Why did Peter ask Jesus to order him to come to Jesus on water, because Peter was not able to walk on water, but he knew that if Jesus ordered, in His order there is the act. So, when Jesus said: “Come!”, Peter put in action his faith walking on water. Faith without acts is not faith.
