The adverb “tachy” means not just exactly “soon” but “quickly”. This shows how short is this earthly life in the eyes of God. 2000 years is quite long but no one of the people expected Him in more than 100 years. We too recognize that this life is short, so what deserves our highest attention is to preserve our heavenly crown.
